The Lucky Cat is proud to present the first public Ghetto Brothers concert in more than 25 years.
The Ghetto Brothers, a street gang turned community group, only ever released one LP: The mythical rare Power-Fuerza record on the Salsa label in 1971. The group is fronted by urban Bronx legend Yellow Benjy, a former member of both the Savage Skulls and the Savage Nomads street gangs as well as president of the Ghetto Brothers organisation. Check out this unique Puerto Rican blend of Rock and Soul. DJs L Michels and J Dynamite from Truth & Soul Records presiding. $7 cover. Doors 10pm.
