Needs an intro, something to set it off. It also sounds kinda bland, not much of a punch to it. It has potential though.

Dope intro. Sound quality is kinda tinny, not sure if that's the intent. I'd try to make it clearer and louder. It's kind of repetitive but the little switch-up is nice and it helps. If the sound quality was better it would be in the B range. Cool sample by the way, I fukk with it.

Final Grade: C+

Clap sounds pretty awful. The acappella seems off beat too but I'm not grading that. I can tell you rushed this beat! If you took your time and crafted this beat around the song, I bet it would mesh pretty well. The potential for a good beat is definitely there.

Final Grade: Incomplete / C-

Nickelz, you always bring the heat homie. Your Skee-Lo remix was tight with the Stevie sample and all that jazz. You got my vote on the Nottingham blog. Anyway...

Those drums are tight. And... um... now I'm kinda left scratching my head. I keep waiting for some really crazy beat to come drop in or something. I see you took the minimalist approach on this but I don't really think it works. If you're going to try to remix this song, it would probably sound best covering it with a live band. The original had so much beautiful instrumentation, and I can't really feel that same vibe in this remix. Sorry.

I applaud you taking a risk though. I'm sure remixing Oasis isn't easy.

:ohmy: at that little whistle type thing in the beginning. That sh1t sounded DOPE as hell son. Where did it go? It comes back in around 1:15 and a few more times, that is FIRE. I'd keep it in and play with it longer than you did. The little organ type instrument that encompasses most of the beat doesn't work for me, it sounds too flat. I really like these drums though. This beat has a lot of potential and the whole vibe is real dope, real distinct and freaky (no homo). You would definitely have a crazy banger on your hands if you tinkered around a little bit.

Final Grade: (as is) B

Eyez, props....just to help you out though, the vocals are off beat...the BPM was 97. Maybe it's the same BPM but you gotta line up the vocals a little tighter. The first line goes, "Now a days you just gotta assimilate..." "DAYS" is on the down beat (the first kick) Hope that helps.

I don't really like it either. I like the beat better at the bpm I originally made it, but since Aje insisted that this should be at 97bpm, this is what happened.

Yo, autotune is some fun shyt. I see why everybody usin it now. I might spend a couple hours just seein how weird I can make some shyt sound autotunin some vocals with different instruments and synths, lol

Aje, I'm bout to be a mad scientist with this pella, lol
