At the Drive-In didn't suck and your classification of them is so off base that I'm astonished. Singing fast all of a sudden equal rap-rock? You're usually on point Art (maybe not always with the rock stuff--you have an older person's aesthetic which is fine) but this couldn't be any more incorrect.
Sparta is generic and boring. I wouldn't waste my time.I agree 100%, except about Sparta. Wiretap Scars was a good album, imho. Don't care for the rest, tho.
and Relationship of Command was one of the best rock albums the year it came out.

Never heard of ATDI until this thread. Checked some of their stuff, and I cannot listen to it. I can't get past the vocals. It's like he's yelling into the mic, and that does nothing for me.
On to Sparta...

anybody here dig Defacto (they were an ATDI side project)?
i hd one of their albums on my old computer but sold it and forgot to burn the joint. It's a decent side project if you're inot world music, jazz, psych and reggae.

hell yeah. Megaton Shotblast is my sheeeeeeit. That record was basically dub (not pure dub/dubstep, but it did have really strong elements of that). They had like one full album, an ep and some half-studio/half live joint. I bump all of it.

Just started listening to this stuff. My friend told me about it back in high school but I wasn't hearing that. It's crazy but good.
