couple of my favorite acts dropping some duds
Daedelus-Love To Make Music To
not even worth a review, by far the worst thing hes ever done.
Herbaliser-Same as It Never Was
couple standouts, but nothing close to his prime stuff with Ninja Tune
Blockhead-Uncle Tony's Coloring Book
think was late last year, only a few standouts and one lone great track. pales in comparison to Music By Cavelight
whats been hot this year? i need some new Avalanches or something.

it's not pure electronica, but that Cut Copy album is serious
THE 101

Neon Neon - Stainless Style (its more like electro pop but its very good)
Fukk Buttons might be worth checking. They're not for everyone though...i mean i'm not even sure I like them.

I dunno man.. I was kinda glad they cut down on the rap/vox.. I am not sure what the consensus was but for me Take London was utter shiit.. And yea I agree, most isht released this year (Electronica-wise) has been straight up dodo...1

i liked Take London, not sure how the reviews were for it. altho i do agree that they were doing stuff that was a bit too conventional, the instrumental arraignments tend to be more interesting than the hiphop productions
does Astralwerks still put out new stuff? havent really checked for them since the Chem Bros/Fluke/Cassius golden age.

Atlas Sound is a nice mix of electronic and indie. Pretty much electronic with singing basically.
M83 - if the others weren't electronicy enough for you, this wont be

Saturdays=Youth is niceeee. That whole John Hughes swag he has going on this record is my sh1t. How's the older stuff though?
Saturdays = Youth is incredible. Real 80's thing going on, especially with those Casio drums on Kim & Jessie.

Yea, that record is insane. I feel like i'm watching the closing credits for the breakfast club or something.

The older stuff is truly special.
Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts = best thing ever

^^This is a song from it, possibly the best electronica song ever.
Before The Dawn Heals Us- Not far behind, this is where the 80's thing starts somewhat, only in touches though.

M83 - Teen Angst, probably the 2nd best electronica song ever.
