I'm looking on buying a keyboard workstation anyone knows which is better a Roland Or yamaha. My sampler is a yamaha so I'm leaning towards motif. But I don't know I'm kinda new to this..any advice?

I would personally go with a Roland if you're leaning towards those 2 brands. I haven't used it @ home w/my equipment but I used it @ Sam Ash and it's a great machine. I love Roland products but the Motif is a great keyboard as well, it's actually well more than just a keyboard..it's endless what you can do w/a keyboard like the Motif.

You should have a local Sam Ash near you out there in Orlando to play with it. I bought a Korg keyboard, I like it but I wish I would've bought a Roland or spent the money on a Triton or Motif. The sounds are incredible on some of these keyboards along w/features you might have to just play with them there to see what's right for you.

Anybody deal with racks? Like you'll see Just Blaze, etc work with those for effects and you can run it into your keyboard or sampler. Thoughts on those?
