do u gotta CHARGE them? How?
I'm peeping this Nissan (http://www.nissanusa.com/altima/key-features.html?dhash=1.2-0.1.0.3).....but I'm mad uneducated about this sh1t. :guilty:

u don't charge them. the battery is charged from the kinetic and heat energy that is normally lost when you stop your car. when a normal car stops, the brake pads squeeze the calipers on the rotors and stops your car. well obviously this friction creates heat and its simply lost energy. and this heat is captured with a hybrid car and is used to charge the battery. also when the car is using its gasoline engine, that can charge the battery as well. the battery engine is used for when the car is driving in stop and go traffic and when you're not going fast, therefore u use pretty much no gas when ur in city traffic.

cold as hell.....i was wondering.....that'd be raw, living in the city. Im trying to get my moms to cop a Prius
