Quick Q:
when your muscles are sore from working out are you supposed to wait until the pain goes away before working out again or should you just get on with it and train anyway?
TIA!!

Continued exertion of sore muscles can cause further swelling and pain, and lengthen the period of muscular soreness. There is some scientific evidence that further training—a so-called second bout—has no negative effect on the reinforcement process.[6] Training in a state of constant soreness would be uncomfortable, although one may be able to adapt to it
you should be fine. just take it easy on the specific sore muscles if you have a low pain threshold
I focus on a specific muscle group every workout so I've been experiencing DOMS regularly for the last couple of years now. take yesterday for instance, I went heavy on my legs, woke up today sore as hell but still ran for 30 minutes. but I've always subconsciously enjoyed the pain (maybe i'm masochistic).

I ran tuesday, worked legs yesterday, and the plan was to run again today but that just isn't gonna happen. my legs refuse to cooperate. imma have to settle for the eliptical today.

Also, make sure you get an appropriate amount of rest if you are training. The rest will definitely help the recovery and give you a safe basis for continuing your training.
