This is a tough one. Universe had some nice ones and kept coming at WIZE, but the middle was kinda weak and some of the metaphors were forced. Wizes flow was nicer, and he capitalized on some of the **** universe said, which some people don't like but I think is fair game. In this instance, I think less was more. Vote: WIZE.

Alright, this isn't really that close. Universe had wittier lines and hid quoted bars that I felt the most are better then the bars I quoted from WIZE. His wordplay was better and his flow at least matched WIZE. The personals weren't all that on either side, Wize wins that category wit the Biter link but the other links you posted flopped imo...they were just him leaving positive feed. Which everyone on this board has gotten and delivered from time to time......

WIZE didn't slack here and it wasn;'t a massacre but Iniverse did enough to take this. He landed heavier shots and was consistent...both verses had some filler that wasn't really saying **** but um...

i'll start with Universe, i expected the wordplay. and i was pretty sure that i'd see some lines that i had never seen before in ur verse. and I was right, the clark kent line, the wize beyond my years, and the not one single barfly line..there were others as well, but I liked ur creativity, I liked the sarcasm and the humor that you had in ur verse. i remember when you first started to post here i told you that your wordplay was on point, i see the progress, good shiit. Wize :laugh::laugh: @ **Beat Rock Da Mic** LOL..that shiit took me back my niigga, thats how EVERYBODY used to post when i first got here, lol i never did it though, but thats wild old school ass niigga :laugh:. ok..i expected a flow heavy 16 :yes: and u didn't disapoint, as usual, seeing as how for whatever reasons u tend to hang ur hat on that. :rolleyes: i liked the intensity in ur verse, u had more personals than Shaq, which made it interesting. ur wordplay has improved as well..good verse, and a good battle overall. so with that being said, after i read universe's verse i thought this battle was over, and then i read wize's verse and i thought it was a tie. now after reading this shiit over AGAIN. i'mma have to say wize won by the slimmest of margins. his verse was more focused and more personal. universe u threw a-lot more punches than he did, and of course u hit him more than he hit u, but u never knocked him out. it's like u were satisfied with just jabbing him, maybe an occasional body shot, but no upper cut ? u gotta have a killer instinct, and know how to end ur verse. and i can understand why u wrote more seeing as how u had to go first, but in the end it just wasn't cohesive enough, IN MY OPINION. so wit that being said, i think if this was live universe would've won, but it isn't. wize was definately more direct and concentrated mostly all of what he wrote towards u personally, it wasn't as creative as universe's verse, but it was more thought out, if that makes sense. i think consistancy is one of ur strengths, and thats what got u over the hump for me in this battle.. soooooooooo, i disagree with theman when he said links to ppl giving u praise isn't effective. i think it works, and it's hilarious. this is a battle nothing is sacred..lol :laugh::laugh: and the other link about the biting..i know it's old and i'm pretty sure u don't do it now, but to say it didn't have a impact is just rediculous. it is what it is. i didn't however like the racial overtones of this battle, i thought it would've been just as dope with out it. there was definately some animosity here, which made for a good battle. wize even surprised me wit a line..

Sometimes line by line breakdowns do not do justice to the verses in question. I think thats the case here, because on the first read through of each verse I liked them a lot more before I overanalyzed them. That said, I feel like Universe too this one hands down.

Wize's shyt felt lazy on this one, wasnt as aggresive and clever as he usually is. Like the biter ish, I feel like you should of came up with something to roast him on that one. Still, Uni had way more punches, a lot of filler, but his punches get em the win

Well, Well, Well. ..

Two of my all-time faves going to war. Universe I always said you were that dude in terms of wordplay and punchlines, ER, Obnoxious on a good weed day and maybe Cryogenik might be the only cats in your realm in that area. W.I.Z.E. you've always been underrated battle wise but that goes with the turf right? You're the Tim Duncan of OM. Never fancy with the lines but quite effective. I did NOT like that W.I.Z.E flipped Universe's verse in a ONE round battle, imma get that off off top. BUT since this is a one rounder i'mma judge based on what I saw.

Universe threw a bunch of jabs and seemed content showing his style is more crowd pleasing than Wize's. Wize on the other hand focused on attacking his character. Universe definetly had the more asthetically pleasing verse in terms of witty wordplay and humor. Wize had the more sinister tone and had more ill intention behind his attack. Universe fought a Floyd Mayweather battle, it seemed more like style over damage. Wize fought like Bernard Hopkins. trying to damage the body.


By a slight margin i'mma vote W.I.Z.E. on this exchange. Universe had this in the bag if he had finished running the knife across the adams apple, because while the verse you dropped was eye pleasing. W.I.Z.E. did drop more science in his verse than you did on this one rounder. Believe me, unfortunately i know all too well how your past and mistakes can haunt you in a battle. Nice clash of styles here kids. Good Read!
