If it wasn't for this nicca's success and labels trying to recreate it NY hip hop wouldn't be in the state it is. All those mixtape niccas were groomed to be him or were trying to be him and that's why their albums got stuck. I suppose none of the labels felt they had that hit so they got shelved or they got fucced after trying to get that 50 cent type deal. Well maybe it's the labels and a&r's faults more than his, but if they wouldn't have tried to copy him with every mixtape rapper the NY scene would be different right now.

He was only trying to better his situation, and over saturate the market with quality material and establishing a buzz, which he obviously came out triumphant in. The real problem is that everyone tried to follow suit with the swagger and mixtape presence, but failed. 50 was a trendsetter in that regard. Not to mention that they were basically the first group to bring the "gangsta" lifestyle to DVD players nationwide, lol.
