Haha, both are to blame yeah for this mess.

Loyal To The Game is obviously 2 Pac's worst record, and Ja Rule imitating 2 Pac from looking like him to rapping over at least two tracks I know of was kind of embarrassing in my point of view.

Luckily, it's over.

That was probably the most disgusting thing i'd seen in Hip-Hop, that was the first time I thought Em was just way too white for me.

I realized it on the first album but it wuz funny....but its only so long bein pale can be funny...then u remember the slavery and lynchings...when eminem said the word "kill" on a track even if he wuz talkin about Kim i knew what he wuz really talkin bout.

That whole beef was dope. Dont even pretend like rap didnt have an ill buzz back then - even Nas said the last time rap felt like it was alive was when 50 came out in 2003.

I thought it was dope when they flipped that old Pac track dissing Ja.

People always miss the point of the track - Ja based a large part of his career on emulating Tupac, he even went so far as to say "I am Tupac" When they flipped that track it was like saying - look, the person you spend so much trying to be is a diss to you in hisself - his tracks can be used AGAINST you.

That shiit was so corny. Eminem rappin on Hail Mary trying to copy Pac's cadences. Ja claiming he was bringing Pac back and rapping over So Many Tears beat with Nas. Man let the man rest in peace, I can't see Pac being a fan of any of those clowns

50 vs. Ja was fun, in fact that's a classic beef that shook up the whole industry.

When Em and them jumped in it just became pathetic.

I think this passage sums up that battle pretty nicely:

"You know what the **** I think is just pathetic and gay?
When *****s speculate what the **** Pac would say
You don't know **** about a dead man's perspective
and talkin **** will get your neckbone disconnected"

It was worse when he had Pac say "my nigguh Em!"

hell no, 50's whole verse on there was bitten toooo much, and busta sounded awkward as fuk

It was fukking quoted verbatim except for like two changes. I think he substituted "Irv" for "Larry Holmes" for the dude "looking flabby an' sick" and that was it.

Despite all that shiit, I found the beef entertaining. All the stuff on that Green Lantern Conspiracy mixtape was entertaining to me, overall.

busta's part was the only part i thought was actually worth any merit, other than:

the hook writing, from fiddy.

which in all honesty, is the reason that those songs resonated anywhere. i still don't get how g unit was able to jack the pac steez and diss ja, with the same biting ja was guilty of.

even em, did it and honestly after:

quitter,.....em added damage to himself cause at the time he was leaning to being really pac-ish himself. he should have stopped with quitter, cause it seemed like a joke, and all in great diss fun cause it was unexpected. when he went the expected route, and took to latching onto the pac sh1t all the way around from his artist and their product and his.

this didn't help because em, is much better than a pac clone, but he still put himself in that same category as well. honestly i think that was the moment, he may have hurt himself. not to mention, the resulting popularity backlash from the movie and a few marketing issues were hampering him as well.

i think that is the overrall tone of the battle generally from the fans. but honestly, this situation may have started the chink in the armor of em,...which then resulted in hurting fiddy after a while as well.

imo....ever since then they have more than likely mismanaged aftermath/shady, when it came to artistic direction, and a few other areas.

yeah they are a draw, but not at the intense level they were at when this was going on.

This beef was embarassing, this was when Eminem became the ultimate clown/joke in hip hop history, like after I heard his Ja disses I just thought to myself this dude must be a homosexual in real life.

so what u sayin is Ja ended Eminems career...and 50 dont realize alotta his career when he first came out wuz based on the fact the media compared him to 2pac bcuz of gettin shot and the beef he had w/murda inc? not to mention he wuz the one tryna rap like Pac on certain songs ,and then got merked on his own sh1t by a 8 yr old Pac verse on "Realest Killaz"

i'm not saying ja ruined em's career but it made people point out the things em did that were similar as a large artist that ja took flack for. albeit em, was more skilled, in most arenas in comparison to ja. em still was a larger artist and should have thought about exactly what the meaning and ramifications were to making his own pac influenced d!cksuckin material, as well. plus making material that downplayed an artist for doin the same thing he was doing, at the same time.

em wasn't over by no means at this point, and still isnt'. especially when he sold platinum on a mixtape. but other than that this is the moment where imo...eminem lost the population of black fans generally who found no fault in him. making pac songs, then taking the stance on ja,...imo, opened the eyes of people who were eyes wide shut so to speak, on em.
