GM's Australian Holden line of cars is looking far better than what we are offered in the states. I think cars like the Caprice would def. sell, looks like a luxury vehicle with euro styling:

They ARE bringing Holden to the US. They rebadged the Monaro as the GTO, and are now rebadging the Commadore as the G8.
The Aussie branches of Ford and GM aren't playing. Their cars are extremely durable, very powerful, and just happen to be nicely styled.
The Caprice is sold in China as the Buick Park Avenue. I wouldn't be surprised if it's brought here under the same guise.

The GTO was a design joke, but I'm glad they're doing the G8 right.

yeah i know i dunno what they was thinking with the gto i guess they wanted to appeal ot the import crowd although theres nothing import about that car interior wise and drivetrain wise

It was a mistake to call it the GTO in the first place. They did that solely because the retro Mustang was/is doing well.
