Ive been supplementing with metamucil a few times a day(orange flavor) for the past month or so. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It makes going to the restroom meaningful, very easy, you feel better throught the day, energy levels are up, less bloat, stomach is flatter, etc. Going to the restroom = joy :laugh: It lowers cholesterol and helps you to meet your fiber requirements thru the day, which Im very guilty of not meeting most times.
I can say this is the best product I have used in a long time, I have been telling everyone to buy some, even my mom who is 62..you think shed be telling me
I was using it 3x a day but cut back down to 1-2 becasue I been low carbing for a cruise Im going on and it has sugar in it. Next go around I will buy either plain psyllium husk or the supplement called fiberylyze by species nutrition(has 0 sugar and more fiber per scoop)

I just say to try it if you havent, make sure to drink lots of water also. Dont let the stuff sit in the water, just drink it, because it soaks up the water and turns into a thick gel. The orange flavor metamucil, tastes like tang...its good..try that 1st if anything

the best thing to do is get plain psyllium husks (no chemicals a la metamucil) and some bentonite clay. make a drink with a tablespoon of each.
you think you feel good now? betonite absorbs toxins and psyllium sweeps them out

I have some at my girls house from when she did the master cleanse
I also have a detox kit here that has everything in it, but Im not gonna pop that open until after my cruise. Its 30 days

fiber one bars (9g per bar)
and the bread i eat has 5g per slice

Props on this young man.I already take physillium husk.Been fukking wit it for like 4 years.This sh1t doesn't cause diarrhea or loose stools does it????

you don't need to do all that to get fiber. i ran a search on the healia communties (http://communities.healia.com) about that - all you need to do is eat more foods that have fiber. "A few good fiber sources are bread - whole wheat bread, bran muffins, cereal - granola, oat bran, vegetables - broccoli, avocado, fruits - dates, mangos." that's it.

I use to eat whole wheat bread, fiber one, etc.. but I been cutting back on starchy carbs(just been eating veggies), but even with that, I know I wasn't meeting my goals daily, so this helps. The same reason I take fish oil pills to get omega 3s

yea i been up on 2-3 oatmeal bowls a day
ive also been supplementing with a fiber supplement consisting of flax seeds, citrus peels and rice bran
IT TASTES LIKE SH!T..im gonna have to switch to psyllium once i finish that :laugh:
there is metamucil that is sugar free, I use that sh1t because I don't like carbs

Imma cop that one next. Since I have cut my carbs back, I feel way better. My energy levels are insane and Im barely hungry, I eat because its time to, not because I feel like Im going to pass out. I havent done this in a while so I forgot what it was like.

word, only carbs I get is from veggies and wholewheat products, and oatmeal. the other refined sh1t causes my system to crash.
