Two sided thorn

i once was pricked by a two sided thorn,
and on that day, a new me was born,
the wheres the whats the whens the whys,
everything you ever told me was a bald face lie,
i learnt the hard way in the lesson thats life,
and to think i had dreams to make you my wife,
i laugh thinkin back, but the scars run deep,
you ****ed off, and then you shacked up with that creep,
i hope your happy now, cos im satisfied,
ive moved on, although theres pain in my eyes,
im a cracked shell, but im not quite broke,
you knew deep down, you couldnt find a better bloke,
but your lust for another ruined what we had,
the rose is the beauty but the thorn is the bad,
and yes i am mad but in truth im relieved,
cos if i stayed with you i still would have believed,
that we was meant to be, and i know that cant be,
and you know the common sayin, theres plenty of fish in the sea,
and where theres a thorn theres always a point,
so thats why i say **** it, and dont get my nose out of joint.
