i seriously think its possible. just look at the tell me when to go remix. you had about 20 different cats spittin on there. i think its really gonna come down to people swallowing their pride and realizing they have to play the role of indian before they can call themselves chief. perfect example is the up in smoke tour, you had 3 headliners but the side acts where big enough to sell out their own shows by themselves.but they realized that they make money because such and such fans are also coming too see them perform. and all the rappers on that tour said it was one of the best experiences they have had. forreal tho, ice cube didnt even headline the tour and hopped on. if a dude like cube who has classics can do it,why cant a upstart rapper?

Well currently I am networked with some catz in Colorado plus I fukks wit Kese Soprano on here straight cool dude and The Porn Stars they cool as well I got some folk down in Atlanta but the ppl in Colo are doing a 25 city tour and they invitied me and my co. to jump on so we'll see. you should jump on the tour. even if your not gonna do something big. the ability to network with who knows how many people in 25 different cities can help your movement. and its an easy way for your artists to spread their music, because nothing gets your music out faster than handing it out to an actual person.

honestly I'm trying to learn more about music and become a dj. as a dj I would be mixing del tha funkee homosapien with mac dre. or mac dre with tower of power, I like to repackage music people are familiar with with something they aren't it makes it easy to swallow. the bay has so many different styles of music its hard to bridge the gap because most of the musicians only want to make their style of music. I think we need to rep the bay period all the styles. if I have the business savvy I would try to set up a school tour of some local bay cats make it a national thing. colleges kids like to party and the bay gets its supercalifragischmackin. we're better than the south and miami combined we hustle hard in an area full of hustlers. we just need to gather more sponsors and make it happen as you said we have the talent but no business savvy cats making it work. plus a lot of street cats aren't ready to deal with business dudes like myself who aren't street hustlers I hustle in the class room. I think all scenes get put on through college students from there we'd just try to have our artists doing meet and greets with the public letting then know we with them in streets, no super star bull ish.

this all depends on where you go to school and if the kids have been exposed to what your trying to spin.

See I appreciate that and that is a bridge within itself. Remeber the album cover of Tower of Power off of 580? classic plus they have great music. Combing the styles is great. Sheila E and Pete Escvedo would be a great combo as well. Isolating Sheila's drums and mixing that wit some mob type shyyt, whew I get goose bumps just imaging hearing something on that level.

@ Cant Get Right yeah a tour is definitely something I will be participating in this summer My main DJ is from the B.I.G crew they do mostly Grime music but rap/hyphy as well they just had a show in SF on friday.

I fukks wit a band by the name of Prophet Soul they well known on the local band scene in SF, they do a combo of hip-hop rock and just good music.

I network with a lot of different folk, spoken word, bands, gospel to name a few...

I like to look at how we can as opposed to why we can't.
