quiku talkin bout u tryna box

i might try to fuc with that lightweight

t-murda sayin pushups with your knucles/fists, i'ma try that

also i remember readin on a boxing forum - pull ups is ESSENTIAL for boxing, devleoping that back, cuz when u punch u using all back power, u need to hit that pull up bar homie, they wuz talkin bout some ol school boxer used to do like hundreds of pull ups, and when he punch somebody str8 shattered they jaw to pieces

u can google these boxing forums they got a lot of good training tips and idea

also jumpin rope as gay as it sounds helps with footwork and dexterity alot

and of course a gaaaaaaaaaaaaaang of cardio cuz thats damn near 90% of a fight n sh*t

and for defense, if u got strong nec/upper bac/shoulder muscles its good cuz a knoc-out happens when your head gets pushed back to a certain point and some lil sensor in your brain goes off and shuts your body down, so if u got a sturdy upper bac or nec then your face wont snap bac and u won't get k'd, i got some big ass delts cuz i'm a Taurus(bull) i've been sucker punched before hard then a muthafuca, i went black for like a second or two but a n*gga wuz str8, didn't get knoced out :yes:

good, spend a considerable amount of time on your legs too. They are very important.

upper body weight training is not all that good for boxing or MMA because it will slow you down...if you gonna use weights, use them for your lower body.

2 things-
1. jumping rope is not gay at all.
2. upper body weight training will not slow you down. you do not have to be lifting for mass. low weights/high reps will be good for you.

Caliesthetics is big in boxing...Just look at Roy Jones...dude never lifted weights and had the fastest hands in history. That's all I focus on when I hit gyms up...speed/accuracy/endurance.

well if u doin calisthenics then u don't really need to hit tha gym... u can do it all at home....so roy jones never lifted weights? maybe thats why he got his ass knoced out by tarver

Gyms have punching bags/speed bags/etc. I haven't bought any of that for my condo yet. Jones never should of fought Tarver..he was depleted from coming down from Heavyweight. Tarver can't even touch a prime Roy.
