What Kinda System You Got?

Honestly this is my weakspot, I been focusing mainly on my car's exterior and performance. And for my car(91 300zx) I'm not honestly sure what would sound good enough.

What do you have to start with? (headunit, amp, speakers). Is it a targa version or does is have a solid roof? You could get some pretty good sound out of it considering the interior is not that big. What is your budget?

My system consists of Sony CD headunit, Boston Acoustics 6.43 Pro Series Components, MTX 4-channel amp, JL 8-inch sub. Monster Cable RCA's and 4-gauge power and ground cables. Looking to upgrade the amp and add a 10-farad cap.

Also depends on what you are looking to do. You want acoustic funk in your car? You want to beat down the block? You like bass, highs? Type of music you listen to? All factors in. Not to mention, how much you willing to pay?
