im not gonna lie, i like punk and some pop punk. i like the classic rock sound, i like bands that would be on the Warped Tour. Why does it seem like every band that gets burn these days are overhyped indie NYC underground type bands? is this what rock music has become? Maybe im jus out of the loop.
I'd rather listen to a classic rock station over anything else these days. hip hop has been dead for almost 5 years now, and i cant even seem to find many bands i like anymore.

i hear ya. the rock scene is pretty saturated with glorified indie shyt and art-f@g bands that clem likes.
but with any kind of music during any era, you just have to sift through a bunch of shyt to see what ya like.
It's pretty hard out there right now for hard/blues rock
Grinderman is probably my favourite recent band but really, they're just a smaller variant of the Bad Seeds. Check out their album though.

wow @ this dumb fukc with my name in his mouth.
Also, if you can't find music that you like you're not looking hard enough.

I haven't been into rock for years, but I've been enjoying Bloc Party...

Killswitch Engage is very consistent and they sound great live. Plus KSE be up there with Slayer and Lamb of God debuting somewhere in the 20's on the billboard charts. That's pretty big good for a heavy "crazy" sounding band. They also toured on everything from Taste of Chaos, to Ozzzfest to the Warped Tour. Basically what I'm tyring to say is that they reach all kinds of fans -- fans who think the group is worth their money.
