What's more effective? To do pushups twice every day or to do pushups a certain amount of days and not doing them one day to let your muscles rest?
I want to quickest method to get rid of this bird chest of mine.

do elevated wide arm push-ups. put your legs on a chair or a couch or something and stretch your arms out as wide as you can and do the push up that way. oh yeah you can buy push up bars for like 5 bucks those help too

I actually got the perfect pushup joints so i'ma use those they do a number on my noodle arms. :laugh:

start off in a nice rhythm, keep ur back straight to concentrate on your chest muscle, then as the muscle begins to tire, get more intense and push harder...
go soft in the beginning, then the more your muscles fatigue the harder you push them.

I have no idea, man I struggle to do 3 sets of 15 and i'm a damn lightweight and I see big niccas doin pushups like it ain't nothin. Must be genetic, or maybe I got bad form.

How much do they normally run for? Doesn't pushups develop your fast twitch muscles though? I want to master them so I can take up boxing for a hobby.

and 2uik i think it do develop fast twitch or wutever cuz, i start doin pushups lately and now when i shadow box i'm on some bruce lee sh*t hella fast, i used to be pretty slow before, i'm ready to knoc some n*ggaz out :smoker:

Dude there's like a thousand ways to do pushups... I do knuckle pushups, finger tip push ups, diamond pushups, etc...if you stick to your pushup plan you will see great results. Good thing about push-ups is, they actually make you stronger instead of big and bulky. I'm a martial artist, if push-ups weren't potent we wouldn't do them, trust me.

I'ma just stick to them as much as I can, i'm bound to get some results sooner or later. But I have noticed a slight increase in strength cuz I can lift shyt at work with more ease.

i do push ups at tha end of my chest work out
i'll do bench press, then maybe incline bench, then do that machine where u pull tha handles from tha side to the front of your chest lil butterfly thang
then at tha end i go home an do 4 sets of push ups to failure..... sh*t been coo so far.

If you want to box, do knuckle push-ups...it targets the muscles needed for good punches...you should also do isometric punches.

this is 100% correct, alot of ppl think the only way to be strong is to bench press and lift giant weights.
