They're legends and sh!t in the alt-rock scene, and Kurt Cobain was a big fan of them, so I decided to check them out. Some dope ass songs on this joint:

Not sure about that, in my experience Sonic Youth is one of those bands that even the snootiest hipsters will still pay homage too. And, if not, they should.
