Right now im pushin a 1997 dodge avenger.

Why?

1. Im still in school

2. It's paid off completely

3. Insurance is low.

But I was thinking about buying a new car.. But don't know if I should sell/trade this one or just keep it?

The car I really want is an Acura TL New/Used

What would you guys do in my position?

Car payments and school are tough.

My question to you would be how does your Dodge hold up? Is it in the shop a lot? If it's not in bad shape, might as well save what your car payment would be and then get something nicer in the long run.

I've had it in the shop about 3 major times in the past 2 years.

Ouch

Well, if you can swing the car payment, nothing wrong w/ treating youself. I'd almost guarantee that a newer Acura or Honda product would be more reliable.

The biggest expense w/ those would be a new timing belt, which would go at about 100K to 130K on the mileage.
