Everyone can have black friends or white friends and still have a racist mentality against them. They sometimes shield their racism by hanging out with the race they dislike, I know this from experience from many people I know they don't like but they like going out with them to parties or hanging out, it's a silly thought too. She said eminem needs to grow up -- 12 years is a long time to grow i'd say, if she made that statement back in '92 when it was recorded then that'd be a valid statement.

As if people need to qualify a statement like that, it's obviously based on his experience in life... we were explicitely taught in school to never write "it is my opinion" or "i think" because it's weak -- it's implied that whatever you say is from your opinion and your experiences. I bet if he worded it differently people wouldn't ***** as much, like if he said "from my experiences white girls are better and black girls only want my money" then people wouldn't really care... okay the "***** ****" was not that cool but it's being blown out of proportion -- like some of you have never said cracker before or chink or gook or whatever... I have a problem when people throw around those terms at leisure, but his was clearly out of anger in the context of being ****ed around by his gf, so it's not excusable, but somewhat understandable.

The word cracker gets used all the time and black folks seem to think it's cool, but a white boy saying "***** ****" causes the record to screetch to a stop.. so funny.

The rest of those audio clips are basically intended for smear propaganda -- eminem knows that being white is part of the reason he's so commercially sucessful and he always makes fun of it... he's just being real -- when he makes comments like that it detracts from his skill and he does it anyways knowingly... on the other hand imagine if em was the complete opposite and denied any "white fame" and kept claiming it was because he's the best ever, etc, etc

I don't think he justified the situation and rationalized it, that was a spin... he said it's not appropriate and explained the backstory/conditions that surrounded the creation of that tape -- basically putting it into context because it was taken out of. It doesn't justify it but it let's the viewer know where his state of mind was at during that time.
