...The word snack confuses people now? If you're that concerned about the caloric/fat content of a "snack", you can look @ the wrapper, or google the nutrition facts.

I understand that, im not confused about what snack is supposed to mean, to me it means a high fiber or high protein 100-200 calorie something so its filling but not too big on calories

people think of snacks as a between meal pick me up, hold u over kinda thing, so when advertisements use that word to describe things that are actually meals they may be leading people to think its healithier or lower in calories than it really is.

its all context. everything is relative.

if you normally eat 4 cheeseburgers, and drink a 2 liter bottle of coke for every meal...then yeah 2 double cheeseburgers from mcdonalds would be a snack.

americans eat way too big portions...we need to cut down the food by atleast 25%, and of the 75% left, spread it out over 6 meals instead of 3 big ones... (for metabolism purposes)

and we also eat/drink WAYYY To many carbs...the only reason we do, is because the food industrty makes alot more money (it's a whole lot easier to grow bread and make soda, as opposed to animals (protein))
Take one bun off your burger, replace all soda you drink with water, replace all juices with the real fruits (plus you'll save more money...you can get 6 oranges for the price of one gallon of or juice that has probably been distilled to hell) etc....

sorry for the ramble...

how can you really be bothered by something so small? I mean even to go as far as to make a thread about it on a forum
