Corm, Az, and Nature just mad because Nas became more successful than them and didn't help them reach the same level of success...they need to get over it.

when did AZ say that?
And u also have to notice that the people who said shyt like that only started saying it after they had a public problem with Nas, besides Foxy (and she was on Jay's dicc heavy, so...)
Also, "shady/sheisty" and "character inconsistencies" are not the same thing. A shady/sheisty nigqa is cnosistently looking for ways to get over and can be depended on to not be trustworthy. A character inconsistency can be something as simple not being on time all the time, or changing philosphies and points of view.
You're confusing character inconsistencies with character flaws

he's both. Nas does snake like such as:
replace 50 Cent on Jennifer Lopez's "I'm Gonna be alright"(remix)
refuse to show up for DJ Kay Slay's "Too Much for me" video shoot, forcing Slay to replace him last minute with Loon
refuses to avoid working with AZ on a collabo album yet playing up the possibility to do the same with Jay who he was enemies with at one point

Wasn't Slay riding with Dip Set whil ethey were dissing Nas?
He ain't did a collabo album with nobody yet, and he's talked about one with AZ, Primo, and Jay. Talk is talk, and that don't qualify as snake shyt.
I don't remember him refusing shyt. All I remember is him stating he wasn't on Murder Inc. he was just cool with them

Nas has had a history of being shady. He is still nearly unmatched as a lyricist but it doesn't stop him from being snakelike in his ways. He was supposed to get Cormega in the Firm when he got out jail and then replaced him with Nature. Dr. Dre may be the brains if the group but Nas had a big say in who was in it and he dumped Mega. As the case of AZ I'm gonna say it was a 50/50, there were rumors saying that AZ contacted Nas and he never called back which is kind of messed up since it was his mic assist on Life's a ***** that made both artists what they are either way tho te colla would've hepled AZ way more than Nas, so maybe he didn't see the mutual benifit.

i believe nas knew, nas even mentioned that he knew why 50 was mad at him in the BET jay/nas interview with toure if i'm not mistaken, he did some snake sh1t to 50, just about everybody that has worked with him artistically has had the same thing to say about him
that don't take away from him being top 5, it's just something thats commonly said, 50 ain't near bout the first artist to say that bout nas, and he actually has "proof" of him snaking him out of sh1t instead of just talk

So what if he did. This game is not fair or clean, it's dirty. Once you step foot in this game. You have no friends, and you can only look out for yourself. Folks need to stop looking for friends and feelings in this game. If they can't handle or navigate this game, then tehy need to get out of it. If you can't get a tough skin then don't get in the game. Nas ain't the only one. The entire game is shark infested. If you can't navigate your way through that, then get out teh game.

Who cares?
I listen to rap to hear how well someone raps....I ain't trying to be their friend, or look to them as some sort of moral compass. You kids get too deeply involved in these rappers lives....if somebody told you your favorite actor or sports figure had "character inconsistencies" you'd be like "so what?"....but if it's a rapper we're supposed to care? notice the quotation around the word "proof"
my basic point is, nas knows why 50 doesn't like him, whether he believes he wronged him is not the issue, lots of people have wronged others while believing they weren't doing anything wrong

Interviewer: What’s the beef with you and Nas
50: you know what me and Nas we was cool we used to be good. I didn’t understand his actions. The first thing that started feeling a little off with him was the Jennifer Lopez ****. I had done a record on the Jennifer Lopez album right and this after I got shot this is the first thing I’m doing trying to come back out. Irv was running around calling everybody and saying don’t do business with these guys you do business with him we are not ****ing with you. At the time they were selling records so people weigh there value by what you can do for them and they were leaning towards Irv and them and they actually took me off the record and put Nas on the record cause she was on Columbia and Nas is on Columbia. Irv even suggested it at the time because he was like take him off why don’t you put Nas on the record he just won a battle with Jay.
Interviewer: Right
50: Took me off the record but I never got a phone call from Nas like I didn’t want a phone call from him to tell me like Yo, can I do this, not can but I wanted a phone call just to be aware of it happening.
Interviewer: Just to let you know
50: Yeah like yo son I’m a let you know I just did this record I don’t know what is going on or if you know what is going on but they called me to do the record and I did it. Just to make me aware of it and I never got the phone call. But prior to that I got the phone call when he had beef with Cormega or other *****s he had problems with he would call and ask me to do him favors. Ask me yo look out for me do this for me you understand what I am saying.
Interviewer: What did you take that as?
50: Well I don’t really know what was going on in his head you know what I mean, but all I know is that his actions made me like damn you know from there we really aint had too much communications. Recently he went on stage in Central Park and it was like a free concert and it turned into a **** 50 cent **** G unit concert you know what I mean.
Interviewer: So he initiated it.
50: Yeah he said that **** in the park. I aint never. Look. People think because I don’t have a problem with beef I’ll accept it. See where I come from it has always been around like I have always experienced it and if it wasn’t mine it was somebody else’s beef but it was right there. You know because I accept it usually they think I like it. I’m just responding to other people’s action. So I wrote that portion based on that but he did go in the park and said what he said about me.

MTV: You got a record on the streets right now called "Don't Body Yourself." We all know the last verse is for 50 and everyone knows it's only a matter of time before you drop an "Ether"-like record for him.
Nas: Yeah. You know what's the crazy thing about it? I've had times of missing 50. I brought him with me on tour before. He used to open up for me. I showed him his first Bentley. I showed him his first big diamonds in person — he ain't know nobody who had real diamonds the size I had. I showed him all that. So I kind of miss the cat from time to time. I would like to know what it is to sit down and talk to him, see what's on his mind. Because all he's showing is that when you get rich, you get angry at the world. And that's not what's it's supposed to be about. I would love to really sit down with him. But on the rap side, we got things to finish. We got business — we got unfinished business.
MTV: He's made a cartoon character of you and dissed you on the DVD for The Massacre. On his latest record, "Window Shopper," he calls you a window shopper.
Nas: How am I window shopping? I showed him his first Bentley, his first real diamond ring — because you know he couldn't afford no real stuff back then. I was showing him the way to go. The G-Unit spinning chain is a replica of the QB chain. I was showing him that. If anybody is window shopping, it ain't me. All these dudes just started buying Bentleys.
http://www.mtv.com/bands/n/nas/news_feature_101905/
But what about comments on 50 and the Dip Set?
Nas: Again, I was told what the audience said when they played those records. I was told what they did, so I went out there and said, “What do y’all wanna hear? You wanna hear these guys?” if the audience thought they had a problem with me, they were booing it. All these guys that got booed definitely said things about me. So I just went out there and had fun with it. That’s what it is- it’s nothing. It’s only people asking about it [that makes it into something]. They turn it into: “Oh, he dissed him!” Like it’s a song or something. That’s not what I’m feeding into. I’m in a totally different place. I’m too deep in the game to be doing that.
What if someone does respond? What if records start getting made?
Nas: That’s not even where my head’s at. I don’t even wanna deal with… I got this record on this album that’s about so much more. I think that would be a downside to the game [if it went negative]. I spoke to the audience what they spoke to me. That was all. That’s not what those things were said for. We shouldn’t even dwell on that, because other guys could use stuff like that to create controversy. Whoever wants to make a [diss] record, God bless. But nobody has to think about me, ‘cause I’m not thinking about nobody.
Ok, so with all this peace talk is "Ether 2" coming? "Don't Body Yourself" seemed like a tease.
To Jay-Z's credit, I respect him lyrically. And to 50's credit, I respect him lyrically, but not on a level of Jay. 50 will never be on a level of Jay so it's kind of a shift for me to switch up and do something comical, even though to MC is to have fun. But you can't just leave all that sh*t out there 'cause if you let it stay too long they think they got one on you.
You have a lot of history with 50 cent. Is this more personal than your average rap beef?
What's crazy is that the ***** never gave me a phone call after he blew up, and as much as he was around me I never knew how angry he was. I used to have him with me and I'd see him get mad at the crowd back then, but I liked his determination. I thought it was something that would go away once he made it happen. I've seen him do things you can't come back from. Once you deal with telling the cops something, you can't come back from that. And I saw it years ago. And I had a lot of love for that dude. I ain't gonna lie, even today I wish I could get on the phone with the ***** and laugh about how you was with the Trackmasters, Jam Master Jay, and in videos with Onyx on hockey sticks, now look where you at. Any ***** that can come up deserves it, but I don't respect how he gonna be mad at everybody. I read an interview where he dissed his grandparents. I think he need to know that there's real *****s out here he can clique with and he don't gotta think it's him against everybody. There can be redemption.
I can't keep track of who is beefin' with who anymore. There needs to be a flowchart.
What 50 Cent does not understand is that Tupac was real. And I don't mean the way hip-hop *****s, industry *****s, or Internet *****s say real. I mean mind, body, and soul warrior real. Pac was younger than we are now and you still got a ***** like 50 trying to imitate him when he ain't gotta do that. When Biggie and Pac died they were younger than all of us! And 50 Cent's name will never be amongst real *****s and that's killin' him right now. But the baddest *****s have to humble themselves sometimes. From Jesse James to Jesse Jackson, the baddest dudes have to come to some humility in they life. Humble yourself.

Nas is right bout 50 cent being mad at everyone, you can see for yourself. He does need to humble self now that he blew up.
<------ would not f*ck with Nas.
Nas is a dirtball, he didn't even try to put his manz on.
Nas was always in a no win situation with regards to putting his peops on he was just simply light years ahead of everybody else and they would of just made him look average after being forced to drop a level in order to coincide with their standard flow and at times predictable subject matter. It’s no surprise that most if not all of Nas’s best work is done when he flow’s solo. Plus Nas was never gona be mega rich bcoz white boys in burbs don’t understand his sh!t and on the streets which was the core of his fan base your talking 1 x platinum at best and that’s for a début which is always the hottest. So by the time he start repaying back some of the advance not to mention probably a weak beginners record contract at Columbia he couldn’t even contemplate on bringing anybody through and when he tried it was either below average or a complete disaster.
As for 50 he’s the biggest snake in the business while the Game was on air giving him and the rest of those g unit clowns props he was on air publicly humiliating him kicking him out of the goon squad just bcoz Game wouldn’t get involved with one of his many over hype contrived beef then had the cheek to indirectly dis Dre talking about how he gonna release one more album and move on bcoz Game got all the best beats. 50’s whole career is based on b!tch ass snakism and he has the audacity to criticise others?!?
