Let it Die and The Reminder in particular

The exceptional tracks, to me, include: Past in Present, Inside & Out and My Moon Man. Dope Canuck chick, that's basically clearing the path Nelly Furtado veered off of. Mesmerizing voice and good instrumentation. I highly recommend her stuff.

Feist is cool.. I like her stuff and pretty much every BSS release.. You Forgot It In People in particular.. Having never heard anything like that before I was like .. BTW, if you haven't heard about it, Open Season is the shiit...

lol @ recommending a widely known artist

Hey guys, you should check out this band called The Rolling Stones, they are pretty good. Hopefully they can make a career out of this music thing.

But yeah, Feist is great.

skanky, the fan without a social life....He's willing to stretch Feist, an alternative artist that merely went gold in the states with their last album, out to be the friggin' Rolling Stones in popularity, of course, to score cool points. Shlts and giggles.

Don't be aggy because it's glaringly obvious the only acts poppin' in Canada sing folk and don't rap

The point wasnt to compare the two, just to show what a f*cking idiot you are.

Not only is she a widely popular solo artist with numerous music awards, and a hugely popular single from an Ipod commercial seen by pretty much everyone, but she is a member of one of the most critically acclaimed and popular indie groups of the past ten years. But yeah, good find buddy, thanks for the recommendation.

Silly me ...the logical conclusion should have been people on this particular Hip Hop website are how Feist pushed those gold sales in the states. And recommending a relatively obscured Indie artist from a different country is tantamount to praising The Rolling Stones as some new thing.

Thanks for the mini-bio, douchebag. Who would've thunk she actually won a moon man. :)

Pretty much everyone who listens to music knows who Feist is. Kanye West sampled here. iPod commercial. Countless late night TV show appearances. Member of that whole Arts & Crafts stable.

The Nelly Furtado mention is somewhat puzzling.

People in Alt.Music for the most part know their shiit.

I didn't post this under the delusion that nobody has ever heard of her. That's what's so laughable about this elitist onslaught, that seems to always be commandeered by the likes of skanky. I knew of her and didn't bother to really listen to her.

I mean, seriously, Nelly Furtado is also of a folksy Canuck pedigree. Her breakout hit was "I'm like a Bird." How puzzling could it be? I don't know how much longitude or latitude is between them or anything but hey....sue me for liking her stuff enough to recommend it to people that may have not really listened to her.

What Feist joint did Kanye sample?

Feist is only "mainstream" cause of those annoying repetitive garbage Ipod commercials.

She's good in spite of this.
