Reason 4.0 users, I'm having latency issues

Or at least that's what I think. What is the default sample rate? I think I tweeked something the wrong way. And is -latency bad as well as high latency?
Basically my music sounds choppy.
I've been using Finale and Reason for a while, but never encountered this before. Thanks guys.

Exactly. But not much is running. Only Firefox and Reason.

once you start pumping them combinators and processors an automation it catches up

especially on a less than new computer

i had the same problem and got a bunch of hal done beats out of it.

sad part is there's no cure

exept if you wana do ur beat qurterly by tracking out of reason every time it gets jumpy

Cool, what Mac systme? is it max out. I was wondering about you when you mentioned Finale. Not many producers rock that. I got 2007 for this big band project I have to finish I went to Oberlin.

I use Finale for my classical music. It's just nice to write the notes out for that style. But I use Reason for Rock and Hip Hop. I use Macbook Pro. And thanks for your help guys. It's working well now. But my headphones are broken now. :hmm:
