for tha carters, i guess i could see people liking 2 better but that's not me.

the only way people are saying dedication 2 over 1 is because they havent heard it or havent heard them both recently. it's not a matter of opinion.

What was great about Carter I and II is that they come equipped with a good handful of standout tracks. What they lack is consistency (the cohesion was obviously something weezy didn't care to emphasize).

With that said... Carter I > II

But after a handful of listens of III, i would say this is his greatest effort.

The punches, metaphors, flow, delivery, passion, beat selection are by far, his greatest achievement thus far.

And when you additionalize THE LEAK EP with Cart tre... you have a superior modern day hiphop album.

And with that said...

IMO, his best mixtape is the unofficial CARTER III Mixtape. (Scarface, La La, Feel LIke Dying, Diamonds and girls, etc. Hot shiit overall, great stuff).

Might have to go back to the listening board and give Da Drought 2 another skimage.
