View Full Version : Jigga will face the BOTTLE or TUMBLEWEED

Jigga is headlining for Glastonbury (talk about not knowing your core audience!) so I'm calling it now!
He'll end up getting bottles of piss thrown at him, or tumbleweed as nobody really turns up to watch him on the main stage
PS: This is a genuine thread mods, I know there are some paid members of his street team here, but that's no reason to censor threads. Wonder which coward it was? Jack?

Glastonbury is the biggest summer festival, it's guarneteed people will be there. . . but as 50 Cent found out at Leeds/Reading . . . the wrong act can get dealt with (www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWvvF95ju9k).
I've heard nothing but complaints about him headlining, he's the wrong kind of artist to be headlining such an event. Tickets have been unexpectedly slow to sell this time round too. Coincident?

Glast. festival is not welcoming to big pop-commercial acts, and jay falls in that category!
If jay plays it smart, he should bring some indie cultured band to play with him, and try and work the crowd!
lol @ 50 performing the reading festival..wow!!!

Rappers like Common, the roots can get away doing a gig like that and Galst.
Jigga is not stupid, he will do something surprising..

Real talk thats the last place to turn up if your a commercial singer/rapper/band your asking to get booed off stage.
On a side note according to some reports people bought tickets to see him (Jay-Z) headline 145 pounds a tickets is steep.
Though Glast sold out and became a place to get seen at its garbage now.

wait there, i think jay has pulled out and is now playing at another UK festival called WIRELESS, according to a close source.
What amazes me is how stupid and narrow minded the people complaining are though... They acting like if it hasn't got a guitar on they CAN'T like it. Jay-Z is not stupid either though, he's not gonna come out with a DJ and do Big Pimpin'. If he has any sense he'll get his live band and do his more thought provoking songs, along with a fair few special guests too. If it was 'Ye peforming they wouldn't complain at all though, Jay-Z just isn't as big in the UK as he is in the US. People should stop whinging and just enjoy a performance by a good live artist who can maybe even turn them onto some music they're not familiar. Plus a lot of the bands already scheduled to perform have said they're looking forward to seeing Jay-Z there. **** the old 40-50 year olds who just wanna see radiohead and coldplay all year. Plus what the **** is Noel Gallagher doing, he hasn;t made one good song this ****ing decade.

It's not just that, it's that Jay-Z is pretty boring.

*You obviously dont get what Glastonbury festival is about.
It used to be a celebration of "Guitar" music and the odd samtterings of Soul music strictly non-commercial year after year that M.O. changes and like I said above a lot of people bought tickets to see him so whats the whinging for?
You probably have not heard Lyla.

Jigga?
Sales have been slowest in many years now.
The Oasis guitarist said having rapper Jay-Z at the festival was the reason tickets had not sold out this year.
There were 100,000 tickets sold for Glastonbury on the first day, but in past years all tickets had sold out in a matter of hours.

I was just going by news reports and sh*t dont check for Glastonbury anymore ZZZZZ.....

One of the mods is a ****ing cunt.
First time I posted this thread it was deleted. You can not say ANYTHING bad about Jay-Z without it being deleted or moved. They really need to remove whoever it is from the mod list
