that the cars made today, will not do well @ an auction 30 or 40 yrs from now.

On the bright side, restoration of these newer cars shouldn't be too expensive to do. I mean, them sh1ts IS made out of a lot of plastic and fiberglass. For the most part, these cars are nothing more than bells & whistles.

I'd love to restore a '72 Monte Carlo. That car is in my top 5 of all time.

I got a camaro I'm restoring and its costing me a pretty penny. But its my dream car and I don't have to worry about it losing value. I do need to worry about jackers, though.

Eh, it's tough to say. Nobody knew the muscle cars from back then would command well into the 6 figures these days, let alone some random convertible Hemi 'Cuda.

The only thing that I feel is holding back cars these days is that they're primarily run by computers.

The idea of restoring modern cars in the future is mind boggling.

You imagine trying to restore a BMW 7 series of today, all that technology etc. Not a chance in hell.
