1. Have a plan and a goal. Know whether you wanna get buff or get cut, or if you just wanna be fit. Don't forget to have good gym accessories i.e. gloves, shoes, clothes.
2. Eat good. I don't know for your state, but summer in FL means cheap watermelons, caribbean mangoes ( I love them). Eat fruits mostly during the day, add ur whey protein and baked chicken, fish, steak with that. Make sure u get ur good carbs and good fats in too.
3. Work out 3-5 days/ week. Increase your workout time. Spend at least two hours in the gym. Do super-sets (combination of 2 exercises). Keep a diary of yourself. If you can, get a workout partner you know will criticize or praise you without kissing your butt or hating on you. Working out with a good partner pushes you through the limit.
4. Sleep 7.5-8 hrs every night.
5. Keep checking your plan and your goal every other week to see where you're at. Don't check every day, you're doing nothing but harming yourself emotionally, which may sabotage your results.
6. Good Luck!!! And be safe.

I'm renting a beach house in NC this summer, so I've been hittin it hard lately trying to get slimmed down. I'm down about 10 pounds after a month and can see body changes, so I'm pretty happy so far. I want to get another 10-15 off still though.

Best advice on here.
