god bless your soul. It depends on the depth of the material or the learning curve.

Strange thread considering there are about a million different variables when reading a book.
Most notably: How long the book is. How interesting/gripping the book is. How much spare time you can give to reading the book.

I want to know how these folks find the time to be reading these books so frequently when as you said there are many variables.

I read more than one book at a time. A chapter of one in the morning, a chapter of another at night.

read like a 100 pages a day, maybe more
now that the suns out, and its nice out, I'll bring my white ass outside during lunch, smoke a doob and read a book...get like 45-60 pages done in a hour, depending on the intensity of the action/mystery whatever is going down

a regular 200-300 page novel...depends... at times when i don't have a life (minimal homework & no partying) if only read after work i can finish a book in a couple days (or less than one day if it's a weekend)
if i have a lot of stuff going on it could take weeks
i think the fastest long book i read was Scarlett (sequel to gone with the wind, 896 pages) in about 4 days over a mid-winter break in hs... yeah cause i had the time to just sit on the couch and read without having to worry about work/homework

It depends. I read extremely fast (one of the things I'm good at). I usually read 2-3 books in a week, probably averaging 300-400 pages or so.
