Ja Rule having his career ruined by 50 is proof most rap fans are sheep

I'm not a fan of either but just hear me out.

Ja was a rap superstar in his prime sold millions, and then 50 came along and basically said "its not cool to like ja rule any more, if you like ja rule- you're not cool". Well due to human nature, people for the most part don't want to feel left out so they all flocked to the new comer to become accepted by their peers.


I'll probably regret making this thread but prove me wrong.

what does 50 have to do with ja rule playing himself in the eyes of the public? even 50 himself admits that people already hated ja rule, he just gave them someone new to dicckride for a while, and now they are turning on him too

ja did something musically that worked...and tried to pimp it until people got sick of it, rappers don't end other rappers careers...50 ain't make ja reenact the movie "grease" in a rap video, and 50 ain't make ja rule sing in the rain with mary j blige either with leather vests on

ja rule ended his own career, 50 just sped up the process

well if you look at it, the sh1t got progressively worse, ja didn't start out re-enacting grease and singing in the rain on his knees...but right about the time his stock plummeted he was laying that r&b singer bullsh1t on real thick, i guess since he thought he could write r&b songs for people, that he could actually sing them himself

same sh1t that happened to nelly, woulda happened to ja rule, he would quietly, and probably at a slower pace, 50 sped that process up, but i don't think he was the main catalyst to ja losing ground with the public
