Smh, what do you need brakes for, not like that GTI is going to go faster than 45mph, might as well just attach an anchor to your car and throw it out the window when you want to slow down.

Touche though, LOL. Nah man, I had a brake line go out on me so I figured I'd replace them all and upgrade since I'll have the car for a while.

They are very nice cars, the styling is timeless, I just feel they are a bit underpowered. If I were going to get one it would definitely have a twin turbo kit in it's future.

Yea it is underpowered in todays world, Honda ****ed up on that part, but I still love it though. Feels like drivng a gocart. I want to get a supercharger but in a way I dont because I wanna keep the car original & I dont wanna blow the engine or anything cause the engine is like $17k + for a used engine.

i did my car bakk in 2001/2.
i got an Injen Intake
and R&D Catbakk exhaust
i changed my spark plugs to high performance ones and still maintain them
i tinted my ish
i was supposed to upgrade to 17" rims, but i never did... and havent since. one day.
i have a chrome air filter on my engine compartment instead of the tube that connects the engine to the intake.
i had a custom plate to go wit my ride, but i soon changed that idea
i tinted all the orange lights on my ish blakk
i put an anti sway bar in the rear under my car
i also changed my lights to HID bulbs and my blinker bulbs in the front are light blue
i havent put money into my ish since 2003 :guilty:... so i maintain what ive done.
i have a 2002 model so my ish is tight.

Equal length Y-pipe,

I still don't understand how anyone, anywhere in NYC can have any sort of rim bigger than 17.
