Naw.. It was more like the beginning of the end for them.. Adrenaline and Around the fur were incredible.. White Pony is a piece of ****, and every album released afterwards has confirmed that...
Back To School is one of my all-time favourtie metal songs.

I loved that album at first, but like two months later, it had no effect on me. Around the Fur never gets old though. I'd say that was their best album. It was the most aggressive, and the most technical playing. They have a very straightforward style. I read an interview once where the bassist says something like "I'm either a great bassists or one of the worst". It's because he never does anything too crazy, but the basslines always sound good and they stick to you. I look up to him a lot.

I gotta say Adrenaline was best then every album after was progressively worse.
Adrenalines a top 10 c.d for me tho.

imo,..that is their single best effort that mixed mainstream sympathetic commercialism with their just budding nitch after around the fur. my personal fav,..outta their discography.
i like all their albums except the first rock/rap fusion one. when moreno didn't know what effectively he should be doin to get the band notice vocally as the front man in the mainstream at the time.
around the fur started them on their path to greatness,....although around the fur is rated higher by critics,.... it still doesnt' downplay, white pony is incredible.
i like a few albums more than this one, especially any maynard driven products, example:
tool, and the rock contemporary completely incredible a perfect circle.
don't agree on it being the goat because although it was my fav, for a long time...tool, a perfect circle, sod, mars voltra and others from that time had better albums.
yet and still,.....................this album will probably never leave my playlist when i need some rock,...some really great rock.
