Basslines

Yo what up everybody? Well its been a while but I have finally learned how to use my MPC 2500 after havin since Jan. 07' and I have made about 6 beats since Nov. But now the my only worry is basslines whats a good machine for basslines I'm thinkin about coppin a Microkorg with vocoder... What do you cats think about that Dj Teknik? Anybody? I will be puttin up some joints in a lil bit...

anybody heard anything about the microkorg What about you Teknik I have that same yamaha DJX keyboard you have, I wasnt reall feelin the their preset basslines ... I have a few basslines on my MPC but their so so...

Yeah its a regular computer I mean cool edit didnt come with it but you know what I mean it was left at my crib by my boy so he just sad i could have

What I do is sample a stock bass from FL or a vinyl into the DJX then play with it...Thats how I get my bassline...BTW DJX is sooo underrated...

Word Im about to go the crib in a lil bit I forgot how to sample into the DJX? you sample from your turntable with your DJX.? How do you make your beats? witha MPC?

I have all my Hardware connected to my mackie 16 track.. I do most of my of my beat with Yamaha su700..But I'm currently learning how to use my MPC1000..
